At Venici Times, we know that keeping active through physical activity and sport has many benefits for the body and mind. Beyond all, sports allow one to set goals and always challenge themselves.
As sports play an essential role in our lives, we decided to support a promising local soccer club, Atletico de Montreal Football Club.
Founded in 2015 by Luis Vargas, ATM currently has multiple male and female divisions in more than 3 major soccer leagues in Quebec. The club is constantly recruiting talented and driven individuals. The name of Atletico de Montreal pays tribute to the La Liga team Atletico de Madrid, led by Diego Simeone.
ATM is based in the city of Montreal, one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world, as it reflects in the diverse backgrounds of its players. The club was built upon three fundamental pillars: dedication, solidarity and resilience.
On March 4th 2020, prior to the start of the pandemic, the Atletico de Montreal futsal team won the Montreal TDP indoor soccer tournament and the picture above was taken seconds before the final game had started.
Venici Times congratulates ATM for their recent success and wishes the club nothing but the best for the upcoming seasons.
